Members of the “Budi Muško Klub” Mostar and volunteers of Youth Power organized a street action for Valentine’s Day, where they were sharing heart-shaped chocolates on the streets of Mostar, were taking photos with citizens, were sharing Polaroid photos and messages that promotes the expression of emotions and love.
The action took place in the afternoon hours. Despite the heavy rain, the volunteers successfully finished the action and shared over 100 candy bars and photos. They walked the streets of the city and talked to citizens, where they were spreading positive informations about each other, which made people of Mostar really happy. The aim of the action was to share 100 candy bars and photos and remind citizens that we should love each other regardless of our differences.
The activity was implemented as part of the YMI – Young Men Initiative project: “Promoting Healthier Lifestyle among Young People in Bosnia and Herzegovina by Challenging Gender Stereotypes II”, supported by the Governments of Switzerland, OAK Foundation, Austrian Development Agency and CARE International Bosnia and Herzegovina.
