Adapting YMI program for primary schools

Youth Power organized training for primary school teachers and pedagogues of primary school Petar Bakula and Elija  Jakovljević. This training took place in Mostar from February 14 till February 15. During this training, teachers acquired the basic skills needed to conduct workshops that were developed to promote healthier lifestyles.

During this training, pedagogues and teachers have selected the modules that will be implemented during this and the next school year. They also agreed to make together campaign for 16 days of activism later this year, with this they will end pilot activities in primary schools in our county.

This activity is a continuous work to develop a program that will focus on promoting healthier lifestyles among the population of primary school students.

The activity was implemented as part of the YMI – Young Men Initiative project: “Promoting Healthier Lifestyle among Young People in Bosnia and Herzegovina by Challenging Gender Stereotypes II”, supported by the Governments of Switzerland, OAK Foundation, Austrian Development Agency and CARE International Bosnia and Herzegovina.
