Youth Power organized a training for members of the Be Men Club Mostar in Rujište from 21.12 to 23.12. During the training, members had the opportunity to work on team building and plan activities for the next 2021.
On the first day of the training, the girls and boys worked team building and getting to know each other and talked about their personal goals. On the second day, participants were divided into groups and worked on creating an action plan for the following year. On the third day, participants had the opportunity to present their plans and agree on the final layout of the activity.
Members have prepared many online and street activities and they all have been created with one goal and that is the promotion of healthy lifestyles among young people, the prevention of violence and the prevention of alcohol and drug abuse.
With the distribution of certificates, we have successfully completed a three-day training and next year we will continue to work on promoting healthy lifestyles and creating a better and safer environment for all of us.
On the second day, the participants were divided into groups and worked on creating an activity plan for the following year.They were part of the ACT workshop, “Youth activism”, which was organized as part of the ACT project.
The activity was realized within the project Young Men Initiative II (YMI): “Promoting healthier lifestyles among young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina by challenging gender stereotypes II”, which is supported by the Government of Switzerland, OAK Foundation, Austrian Development Agency and CARE International Bosnia and Herzegovina.
