At Youth Power Sweden, we recently conducted a series of Work-in-Progress trainings aimed at testing and refining our five educational programs. These sessions were designed not only to evaluate the effectiveness of our content but also to empower young people, especially those with fewer opportunities, by enhancing their skills and fostering their integration into the local and European community.

The Journey of Work-in-Progress Trainings
The initiative involved five test trainings, engaging migrant youth from diverse backgrounds. The goal was to assess the impact of our programs while providing participants with a meaningful learning experience.
Our team ensured that each session was interactive and responsive to participant needs. The sessions also provided insights into the Erasmus+ program, introducing opportunities available for young people seeking further educational and professional development.
The Structure and Implementation
As part of our partner agreement, each organization was responsible for conducting at least one Work-in-Progress training online. Given that we had 5 educational programs, and only 4 partners, Youth Power Sweden hosted two online sessions:
- Innovative Inclusion in NFE (Non-Formal Education)
- Sustainability in Youth Work
The remaining three programs were delivered in-person, ensuring a hands-on, immersive experience for the participants.
You can download all 5 educational programs from this folder.

Key Achievements and Impact
The engagement and enthusiasm of the participants were evident throughout the training sessions. Some of the major successes included:
- All participants actively contributed to discussions and activities, demonstrating a keen interest in the training topics.
- Participants reported gaining a deeper understanding of key themes.
- After each session, feedback was collected and used to make minor adjustments, ensuring the program was as effective as possible for its target group. To measure the effectiveness of our programs, participants completed evaluation forms after each session. The responses provided invaluable insights.
What’s Next?
With the final evaluation complete and adjustments made, our five educational programs are now stronger and better suited to meet the needs of young migrants. The Work-in-Progress activities not only validated our training content but also empowered marginalized youth, equipping them with skills for active European citizenship.
As we move forward, we remain committed to enhancing learning experiences, promoting inclusion, and leveraging digital methods to engage young people.
These activities are part of the “Digital Transformation of Inclusive Youth Work” project, co-financed by the European Union and in partnership with organizations from Sweden, Croatia, Germany, and Austria. The project seeks to integrate digital tools into inclusive youth work on an international scale. By adopting innovative digital teaching methods, we aim to enhance the quality of youth work and promote the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities.
