The final webinar, “Reflecting on Digitalization,” brought the series to a meaningful close by focusing on reflection, feedback, and celebration. Designed to evaluate the impact of the program, this session helped participants consolidate their learnings and gain clarity on how to apply their new knowledge in youth work.
Key activities
- Learning Takeaway Exercise
Participants created visual summaries of their learning experiences using tools like Canva or by drawing. Prompts like “The ‘AHA’ moment was…” and “I need to research more about…” guided them in reflecting on their key takeaways. These visuals not only captured individual insights but also contributed to a collective understanding of the program’s impact.
- Evaluation Survey
A comprehensive survey gathered feedback on the program’s content, facilitation, and activities. This step ensured continuous improvement for future sessions and allowed participants to share their honest opinions.
- Echo Chamber Activity
Using photo cards, participants creatively expressed their thoughts and feelings about the program. This reflective activity fostered a sense of closure and allowed for emotional and intellectual connections to surface.
Making It Work Virtually
For online participants, tools like Padlet and Google Forms were used to facilitate feedback and reflection. Photo cards were replaced with a shared digital photo library, enabling participants to engage fully in a virtual environment.
Why Reflection Matters
This final session emphasized the importance of looking back on the learning journey to gain clarity and inspiration for the future. It also celebrated the participants’ growth and contributions throughout the program.
